Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 50 Karma: 7 Emberfire Comes « Thread Started on Apr 21, 2006, 2:52pm » Sasuke walked through the shadowed forest.Sometimes,his hooves sank through damp,rotting logs.He turned his dark head to look at the crimson mare following him.She would be the new Queen of the Festering Forest.He wondered what she thought of his clan's homeland.Not that it really mattered.... What did he want for one, and also... How did he plan to get it? Thoguht she was not worried, she toyed with the thoughts. She could hold her own, WITH, or WITHOUT help from another. Already her thoguhts began to shift. What she needed was a place to rest, and if it proved worthy, she might stay there permanently, but Things seemed to be shifting for the worst, and thoguh it didn't bug her much. If it didn't loosen up alittle, she might consider leaving as soon as she was fully rested. But for now, she woudl wait. She would wait, and use her time wisely to come up with somethign. As the forest loomed in front of her, and she stepped under it's cooled shadows, she could sence the tense dark aura surrounding her and pressuring her on all sides. The damp smell of undergrowth stunk the air, but it was an inviting smell for Ember. It kept her awake, and ready. The forest itself was well layed out, and so far she presummed she would tolerate, maybe even like, this land. Not counting all of it's inhabitants persay. There was somethign about Sasuke. Like he was caught up in another world, instead of the here and now, which at the moment included her. Once we have more members in our clan,we will make a move against the Lights and any others who oppose us.What do you think of this plan? No expression crossed her facade, for emotions were a sign of weakness in her mind. She nodded. "It is a dark plan m'lord. One that any could appreciate." She nodded her head in agreement, and gazed around her. As the hazel orbs that invaded the aubern pelt, and stood on either side of the disgusting blaze grew accoustumed to the darkness, and began to see more. And she liked what she saw. Left and right were dead things: trees, small animals, flowers, bugs. It was heaven. She felt as if she was back where she belonged though somethign did seem wrong. She just couldn't help herself as she looked over Sasuke again to notice little things. Like a sign of distaste at saying his words. And a previous memory waiting to break free from the cage that held it in his head. She sighed, perhaps she could try to get along with him. After all, he had claimed her, even if it had been rather rude(not that she wasn't used to it) but she was his now, and she woudl have to get along with him... But she would NOT start anythign. She was the type who only spoke when spoken to when she had first met a being. Other wise all was silent, and not a noise emmited into the air. A ebon dagger pounded the ground in boredom, but she was not relaxed. Her muscles were tensed as if ready to spring though she had no intentions of leaving and she watched him carefully out of the cornor of her eye. It was habit not to trust other darks. Pure habit, but it had been broken... once before. But she woudl not speak of him, nor her disowned son. She cared not for them. If he was just going to sleep she was gonna to look around alittle and find a quiet place to think... Quickly and Silently she stepped away from his resting place and made her way through the forest skilfully only snapping one stick in the process. (blah, no muse... and i'm kinda tired.
