Out of the frying pan... « Thread Started on Apr 15, 2006, 7:32pm »
...And into the fire
If one had been walking along this quiet meadow they woudl feel the suns heat upon their back and see its bright rays glareing down on them. But yet something stood in the darkened shadows thats glare woudl turn you to stone and when shown upon the light from her pelt was a dazzleing blinding light.
But alass she was alone in the meadow by the creek. None walked to bother her with their insescent whinnings or their irate babbleings. No, it was quiet... quiet like she liked it. For it allowed her time to think... time to wonder and imagine what new trick she would pull on the next 'victem' that walked past.
Emberfire or Ember as she was commonly called was not liek any normal equine that walked the grasses of this earth. She was dark yes, but could hide it, Yet never did she act liek anythign less than a nutral. She could not pull off a light act. And yet what made her so unlike the rest was her attitude. Killing enthralled her, but pain and suffering fed her... making her stronger by the minute. No, pranks were her game. Coming up with new exciting ways to injury or even kill those who were stupid enough to cross her path.
Now however she only stood quietly wihtout a single movement in the darkness. Her mind was on other things, and though she had the quiet time to think the small trickleing of te nearby creek always foudn a way into her thgouhts. A mere 17hh tall Emberfire was not big considering her crosses. The dial and legs of her Mother EMberfire shown her spanish arabian blood with pride, and the burly muscular bodice and nape of the Quarter Horse linage from her father glistened under the light that would have glimmered upon her were it not for the shadows of the trees Ember loved so much, But even the shadows could not hide the hidious white blaze that streaked violently down her facade. It was a mark of her father, A traitor to his dark people, but Ember did not mind.
Now however she was in need of a land. A place to stay for awhile and relax, for she was tired and had been on the road for sometime now. Wihtout another thoguht of what woudl happen the chestnut bodice lifted from the shadowy depths and lunged itself out into the blinding light setting off a whole new glimmer. Wiht conditioned muscles moving eagerly under her red plumage created the impression of flickering flames, Hence her name... Without warning she stopped short and threw her weight upon the hind pillars in a single high rear. Obsidians sliced the azure sky mercilessly, as pharynx parted in a sharp blood curdleing call. Wiht a dull thud embers titaniums ruterned to the hardened floor and there she waited for the answer of one so brave as to claim her...
(I hope thats ok...)

Blood stained vix turned on her heel to glare at the speaker of these tones. When she was faceing him she paused. Looking him over she liked what she saw. Though he did not appear of be of one breed, he had good comformation, and she could see even from a distance the glorious sheen of his sienna tinted canvas glistening atop his muscular silhouette. His features proved her theory of him being a dark, and she did not doubt it. For it was in the way he carried himself. After her moment of silence A smirk grew upon her velveteen,
"Emberfire is the cursing layed thick upon the air by those willing to call upon themselves as my 'friends'... Tis a pleasure to meet you Sasuke"
Upon the word pleasure she hissed... even when acting nuetral the word still came as hard to say... for was she ever truly happy to meet one... even so dark as she? No... but it was not personal... she was just always distracted. Though it did appear an idea in her mind that since he did have a land, she could go with him, and rest for awhile...

Ember stood for a moment annoyed byt this stag. He coudl have at least tried to be alittle more polite. But being the true mare she was. She dragged herself rather unwillingly along behind this wretched seductor. Her eyes distant as he mind whirled already sorted out some evil prank to play on him. Not one to hurt him or kill him. But one for revenge.
